I finished reading James Patterson's The Quickie last night and must say that it was one of the best books I've read in a while. I read it in two days (which is something that I haven't done in a very very long time). It was a QUICKIE. If you are looking for a edge of your seat thriller - this is it.

I also read Patterson's Cross a few weeks ago, not narly as exciting.

Books so far this year.

Just wanted to write down what I've read this year so I don't forget. It's not like I plan on reading a lot but I am forgetful. So, I've read (starting in Dec):
1. The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
2. Shoot the Moon by Billie Letts
3. The Shop on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber
and now I am reading Shopaholic and Baby by Sophie Kinsella

scrappin a lot

Well, I haven't sewn in weeks and its driving me crazy.
I have been shopping and have several projects lined up but no time to sew.
I have been scrapbooking a lot - the last few weekends anyway and trying to find some time during the week as well. That thing called work gets in the way.
I am way behind in my scrapbooking and am trying hard to catch up. Hopefully, I will feel better about my progress and can get back to sewing soon. Since i use the same work table for all my crafting - its hard to do them both ant the same time.
Maybe I should sew on some of my pages. LOL

this is all new to me

OK - this is my first blogger post. Everyone else is doing it so I figured that I would give it a try and see what all of the fuss is about. So don't laugh and just bear with me.
